Step 3 – Shipping
Piece by Piece has partnered with UPS, the leader in global logistics, to provide both nation-wide and international shipping services to students that prefer to ship items home over the summer. Shipping prices vary depending on the weight of the box and destination. Typically, cost is between $1-$2 per pound, and expect most medium boxes to weigh about 20-40lbs and large boxes 30-50lbs. Piece by Piece will generate shipping labels and place them on all packages designated for shipment. If you do not require any shipping service, please click on the “Skip and Proceed” button and you will quickly be redirected to the next page.

All packages will be shipped via UPS ground and will have a maximum transit time of 7 business days. UPS does not deliver to PO Boxes, and they do not deliver on the weekends. Any packages designated for shipment will be brought back to the Piece by Piece warehouse and sorted for labeling and shipping. UPS will pick the packages up within 3 business days after they are picked up from campus. Before any shipment is processed and sent out, a Piece by Piece representative will contact you to inform you of shipping costs. Tracking numbers for your boxes will be emailed to you so you can track their process through UPS.com. Please note that only cardboard boxes may be shipped. No furniture or plastic totes may be sent through UPS.
