Step 2 – Summer Storage
Do you live out of state and need a secure place to store your belongings over summer break? Or, would you rather not deal with the hassle of cramming your entire dorm into your car just to have to repeat the process in a few months? Piece by Piece offers full-service storage to students at BC in which our professional movers come to your dorm room, pick your items up, and bring them back to our secure, climate-controlled warehouse to be stored until you need them redelivered. If you do not require any storage services, please click the appropriate box and you will quickly be redirected to the next page.
Note: The price for each item in the list below includes in-room pickup, storage for the entire summer, and delivery back to your on-campus room at the start of the fall semester.
Below is a list of commonly stored items as well as the cost for an entire summer of storage including door-to-door moving service. Simply click next to the item and we will take care of the rest. We understand that students may have a tough time gauging the exact number of items they will need stored, particularly boxes. If your storage inventory changes, please know that you will only be charged for the exact number of boxes and furniture stored. Just click on the items you anticipate needing to store, actual inventories and charges will be affirmed upon pickup. Piece by Piece offers delivery to both on-campus and off-campus locations in the fall. We will be offering pickup service throughout the week of final exams. Pickups will begin on Tuesday May 5th, 2014 and run through the last day of final exams, Tuesday May 12, 2014. All the student residences have been broken up into two separate time windows: a morning window from 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM, and an afternoon window from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Students must be available during the entire pickup window, or find a friend or roommate who will be available. Students who are absent, unavailable, or not fully packed and ready upon their scheduled pickup will be assessed a $50 “missed-pickup” charge.
The following residences will be serviced during the MORNING WINDOW (8:00 AM – 1:00 PM): Roncalli, Welch, Williams, Fitzpatrick, Gonzaga, Kostka, Shaw, Loyola (CLX), Medeiros, Claver (CLX), Xavier (CLX), CLXF, Fenwick, Cheverus.
The following residences will be serviced during the AFTERNOON WINDOW (12:00 PM – 5:00 PM): Greycliff, Edmonds Hall, Walsh Hall, Vanderslice Hall, Modular Apartments, 110 St. Thomas More, Ignacio Hall, Voute Hall, Gabelli Hall, Rubenstein Hall, 66 Commonwealth Ave, 90 St. Thomas More, Duchesne, Cushing, Hardey, Keyes.
Upon checkout, you will be asked to enter your contact information, residence hall and room information, as well as your preferred pickup date and time.
